  1. Explanatory note

General Approach

We offer to create an open, light-permeable interior, flooded with light from windows along the perimeter of the floor. The overall feel should be light and airy. Soft shapes and textures prevail in interior. Basic color is white, but bright color accents are installed everywhere.

An important part of the concept is the adaptability of office space in order to increase the number of workplaces without sacrificing interior. This is achieved by using individual mobile office elements.

Planning solutions

Russian sales department, customer area, meeting rooms and supervisor’s office are located on the 12th floor. Foreign sales department is located on the 13th floor.

12th floor

We offer to divide the floor into several main areas:

  1. Reception area with the client area,
  2. Open space,
  3. Area for temporary employees, workshops and recreation,
  4. Supervisor's office.

Reception area

We have disposed reception area with the client area and supervisor's office from the greater openness of the lift lobby, which allows making a good view on reception from the elevator. In addition, this part of the building has the best view from the windows, which is important for the client area and the supervisor's office. In the same area there are three mobile meeting rooms for 4 persons each and one large meeting room (conference room). Mobile meeting rooms can be moved during the operation, making the layout more adaptive. Client area is made to be the most spacious, so that visitors feel more comfortable. This area has sofas and armchairs.

Reception desk is made visually as floaty as possible, as it is flying above the floor. It does not lean on the floor and is suspended on thin steel cables stretched from floor to ceiling. Desk does not have the usual high client-side to create a more open, friendly atmosphere. The entire area under the desk is raised on a podium, gradually growing out of the floor. Tabletop is made of seamlessly material Corian.

Open Space area

We see the main task of open space area in struggling with the monotony of repetitive workplaces. And of course, the workplace should be as comfortable as possible. Therefore, we use low partitions between tables, not the standard, but with a complex, lively silhouette that creates an unusual and interesting space. Some elements are bended and can be used as shelves. Others are made elevated, that they can be used as pointers for different departments.

The complex shape promotes good soundproofing and creates acoustic comfort. Partition walls are covered with thick soft sound absorbing material and covered with a cloth. It adds a comfort and convenience for employees as opposed to traditional office spaces.

In open space area beside the main workplaces there are areas for quick workshops with a table for 6 people. They are identified with soft partition into a separate facility and equipped with a large monitor.

Temporary workplace area and recreation area

These areas are located at the corners of the building and can be used very flexibly: they can be filled with temporary workplaces, depending on the situation, or serve as a venue for corporate events and lectures. They also function as recreational areas. There you can set the table football or even a ping-pong table.

Temporary workplaces are mobile and can be quickly swapped. They are minimal in size and represent a transparent half-cylinder 2.3 m of height. A small table for a laptop with a built-in socket is installed in every half-cylinder. For maximum mobility electricity is connected to the ceiling, through a special pendant light with a socket at the bottom. These lights are everywhere on the ceiling, where additional workplaces could be installed.

This solution allows to use office space with maximum flexibility, if necessary, easily moving the temporary workplaces.

Materials and technologies

The main task of all the materials  is to create a sense of lightness and comfort. For these needs we used perforated, woven and transparent materials.

The ceiling is made of acoustical perforated plasterboard.

All direct blank walls also finished with perforated plasterboard.

Partitions that are separating area, made of curved transparent acrylic sheet. They do not reach the ceiling, and do not disrupt the overall unified space.

The same elements of transparent acrylic temporary workplaces are resolved.

The largest amount of material in the office accounted for partitions between tables that are covered with a cloth.

The floors are covered with white resin self-leveling compound. This allows easy cleaning and exceptional durability. Pieces of carpet are additionally stacked in recreation areas on the floor.

  1. Working space on 12th floor

Working space is a combination of different sizes of open space. The number of fixed workplaces, based on the number of employees for year 2013, composes 130 seats on the 12th floor, and 90 seats on the 13th floor.

It is also stipulated by 44 temporary seats on the 12th floor and 26 temporary seats on the 13th floor.

In total 390 workplaces are located on 2 floors. Free planning takes into account the subsequent increase of workplaces. In future number of working places can be increased to 340 seats, adding 50 fixed workplaces on both floors (210 seats on the 12th floor and 130 seats on the 13th floor).
